OMG  This DD means a lot to me, so thank you everyone !!!  ~ edit2 ~ Evolution and improvements through time Better now, IMO ^^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Please full view, and download for larger size \o/) My entry for  's contest "Gods, Goddesses and Mythology".This one is a beaded peacock necklace. According to the greek mythology, Argos was a giant with a hundred eyes. He was Hera's servant. Hera's defining task for Argos was to guard the white heifer Io, one of the many nymphs Zeus was coupling with, keeping her chained to the sacred olive tree at the Argive Heraion. To free Io, Zeus had Argus slain by Hermes. In memory of Argos, Hera placed his hundred eyes on the tail of her sacred bird, the peacock. This necklace was entirely made with seed beads (plus a few Swarovski beads). Time spent : approx. 30 hours Design by me. I can: - Re-make a prototype already in my DA gallery - Make some original work if you give me instructions.
